They say that Copper Kettle is the Queen’s favourite breakfast spot in Cambridge. They serve Turkish breakfast, sweet Turkish breakfast! Mmm that’s right Queen, what’s not to like about Mediterranean food? They did have English breakfast but let’s just assume she is a regular eater of Sucuk!
Su-what?… Sucuk is a Turkish sausage. If you don’t know then get to know.

It was served with straight out of the oven baguettes. The butter melted so nicely on them, writing this makes me want to eat it again right now.

Of course it came with some fresh goods too.

What excited me the most was to find out that they have Turkish coffee!

Not only is it stronger than your average Espresso, to feed my spiritual side, you can do fortune telling with Turkish coffee.

My Turkish friend, the expert, worked his magic.

And put a coin on top of the cup to absorb the heat.

Ta-da!

Now, if someone is able to tell me what this means, please help! Apparently there is a bird in there that will bring me good luck. Also, someone starting with the letter V will bring me some sort of announcement. So V, whoever you are, I shall be waiting to hear what you have to say for yourself!
If it’s all lies and it’s not the Queen’s favourite spot, well, it’s mine now so next time you want breakfast in Cambridge – try this place!
