Welcome to the first blog post on Catch52’s brand new home section!
It’s finally that festive time of the year again. I recently moved in to a new flat with my sister. For once we decided to move in unfurnished and personalise our home from scratch. This meant that the flat felt a little empty for a few weeks. For me personally, I didn’t want to rush into getting things for the sake of needing it. Instead, I wanted to take my time and carefully select my pieces. One of the very few things we got was our Balsam Hill Christmas tree.
Balsam Hill are known for their beautiful artificial Christmas trees. They offer by far the most realistic looking trees in the market. I have never been a fan of real Christmas trees because I feel like it’s such a shame to keep cutting and throwing them away year after year. Let the beautiful trees grow and get a realistic looking tree instead :)
I chose the Vermont White Spruce Tree (6.5′ height, 55″ width). The set up of the tree was very easy. It came in three parts which simply needed to be placed on top of each other. It also comes with beautiful LED lights which are continuous as long as it’s plugged in. The tree looks so natural and is the perfect size for our living room.
To decorate the tree I wanted something quite neutral so I went for the Silver and Gold Baubles, 35 pieces set and my favourite pieces which were the stunning Icy Teardrops. Thanks to the light spread out evenly on the tree, one set of baubles and teardrops was enough. I really liked the chic but subtle look. The tree skirt is faux fur in ivory colour and it blends so well with the colour of the decoration.
It’s my very first Balsam hill tree and I’m so happy with it. Needless to say I’m excited to celebrate Christmas after the most tiring and stressful month of the year. Thank you Balsam Hill for brightening up my living room.
This post is in collaboration with Balsam Hill, as such the products were gifted but all options remain my own.
